GEM STATE COMIC CON

GEM STATE COMIC CON is the largest pop culture event in Idaho, and is designated as the official Comic Con of the state of Idaho as it brings fans together from all over the world. 2024 was the largest in attendance in history for Gem State Comic Con with over 250 vendors, artists, and exhibitors. Highlighting the 2024 special guests were Sean Astin (Lord of The Rings 2001-2003), Colin Baker (Doctor Who 1984-1986), Gigi Edgley (Farscape), Clem So (Doctor Who 2012-2017), Spencer Wilding (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Brian A. Prince (Predator 2018), Ming Chen (Comic Book Men), Tony Oliver (Robotech), Sam Kwasman (The voice of Donald Duck), Marie Westbrook (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), Joey D'Auria (Bozo the Clown).

GEM STATE COMIC CON always brings an array of the best comic book artists and illustrators in the world. 2024 saw some new faces and a lot of returning fan favorites. GSCC 2024 special artist guests were Kip Rasmussen (J.R.R. Tolkien Official Illustrator), Cliff Cramp (Star Wars Official Illustrator), Floydman Sumner (Garbage Pail Kids), Luis Rivera (Team Colossus), James Pascoe (Batman), Jeff Cox Garbage Pail Kids), Tobe Daranouvong (Team Colossus Origins).

GEM STATE COMIC CON is not only about celebrity guests and artists. GSCC brings the best in entertainment and 2024 witnessed Igikopop who rocked the house with anime inspired songs and rock opera. She was a fan favorite and her band received a standing ovation.

SIGHTS AND SOUNDS OF GEM STATE COMIC CON 2024: The amount of entertainment from video games, panels, board games, card game tournaments, and more. It was difficult to contain so much fun under one roof, but luckily Gem State Comic Con has three roofs of fun and excitement for the whole family.
